This session will focus on presenting facility energy data in a meaningful way. Issues such as normalizing and benchmarking will be addressed, and examples will come from several types of buildings. Examples will also illustrate how well the indoor environment was maintained, as this is crucial to measuring energy efficiency.
Learning Objective:
1. Understand the importance of normalizing energy data when comparing similar facilities
2. Know where to obtain benchmark data for common facility types
3. Understand the importance of measuring indoor environmental conditions and know how these relate to energy efficiency
