A Look Inside Fire Sprinkler Maintenance Programs

One of the most important things a facility manager can do to evaluate the condition of their fire sprinkler system is to have internal pipe assessments performed as required by NFPA 25, the Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems. In this interactive, informative presentation, attendees will learn about the critical function these internal assessments provide, the steps necessary to comply with fire codes, and what options are available to the facility manager for having this service performed.

Learning Objectives:
1. Learn to describe actions necessary for fire and building code compliance as it relates to internal assessment of fire sprinkler system piping
2. Differentiate between what functions the facility manager can perform and what functions require a fire sprinkler contractor
3. Recognize the purpose of internal assessment of fire sprinkler system piping in terms of preventative maintenance
4. Learn how to develop a comprehensive fire sprinkler system maintenance plan that includes internal pipe assessment
