Change Management Within Facilities Management

Facility managers are involved in leading projects that involve significant levels of change on a consistent basis. As FM continues to grow, change will continue to become more prevalent. The likelihood that these changes will be met with some form of opposition is highly probable. When changes occur they will induce disruptions to the daily routine which drives stress and frustration. If these changes are not properly managed, the result can be lost productivity, poor morale and a high level of complaints which causes distractions for management. Effective change management is instrumental in helping groups and individuals adopt change.
