Energy, Occupant Satisfaction and Your Facilities Budget: Can They Coexist?

Facilities managers are asked to achieve the seemingly impossible: operate the highest possible performing building at the lowest operating budget while achieving 100 percent occupant satisfaction. It can (almost) be done with today's tools. This session will give insights into the relationship between the building's energy performance and the occupant comfort perceptions. Furthermore, testing, adjusting and balancing will be showcased as the first step in achieving a high performance building.

1. Understand how energy is used in existing buildings
2. Identify how big the energy savings opportunities are
3. Gain insight into energy management in context of human performance
4. Learn how testing, adjusting and balancing can reduce your operating costs
