Importance of Proper Building O&M and Operator Training

This presentation will cover the value and components of building O&M and operator training. We will briefly discuss the benefits like energy conservation, environmental protection and grid reliability. An outline of actual training components will be given as well as examples of the acceptance of the concept in practice by large cities and prominent trade organizations. Proven results in practical applications will also be discussed.

1. Understand the need for training/education for many levels of building personnel: upper management, decision makers and general educationall for all types of buildings, large, medium and small
2. Review energy use consequences of improper O&M and the ability to recognize “Rough Out” /”Rule of Thumb” quantification of economic benefits of improved O&M practices
