New International Standards for the Facility Management Industry



In 2012, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) formed Technical Committee 267 (TC 267) – Facility Management (FM) to develop International Standards for the FM Industry. TC 267 currently has 26 participating countries and 15 observing countries from around the world; the US participates through the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). Learn about the work of TC 267, the part ANSI is playing in developing these Standards, and why ISO standards are important for the future of FM.
