Pre-emergency Flood Preparedness Planning



Flooding has been a critical concern for many facilities and businesses, costing billions of dollars in repair and loss of service time. Through this presentation, participants will learn how to actively prepare a facility for a potential flooding emergency. Participants will be educated on how to create a safety plan, flood proof buildings, and how to protect expensive building equipment, such as elevators and mechanical rooms from water damage. This presentation will also include important information on how to obtain FEMA grant funding for a flood loss.
