Surviving the OSHA Audit – Common Sense Solutions to Your Most Feared Compliance Issues

Last Year OSHA issued over 40,000 citations for safety violations in the workplace. In one example, a well-known company was fined over $1 million for safety violations. The good news, many organizations have learned to comply with OSHA regulations and have avoided fines and citations when audited by OSHA. During this presentation, you'll learn: • OSHA's five most frequently cited violations in a built environment • The #1 violation and why you're probably not compliant right now • OSHA's General Duty Clause and how it can be a compliance trap • Training, inspections, written plans and other "administrative" requirements

1. Participants will be able to develop an OSHA compliance game plan for your company.
2. Participants will be able to understand the top five OSHA violations in facility management.
3. Participants will be able to understand ways to reduce OSHA fines.
4. Participants will understand how to research the OSHA history of their organization and their industry.
