Water Conservation: How / Why To Get Started


Regardless of the business, socially responsible organizations monitor water consumption and actively look for opportunities to reduce water utilization. Water conservation includes policies, strategies, and activities to sustainably manage fresh water resources. Through responsible water utilization a significant reduction can be made on other utilities and consequently natural resources. A broad-looking approach to identifying and initiating water conservation practices that can be utilized by any organization will be discussed.


1. Participants will gain knowledge about the current fresh water situation globally.
2. Participants will learn how to initiate a water conservation program.
3. Participants will learn common sources of water waste in facilities.
4. Participants will learn how to reduce water consumption and the impact on other utilities.
