FMXcellence Recognition Program

FMXcellence and Building Operating Management

FMXcellence Recognition Program is an initiative from Building Operating Management magazine that aims to praise FM departments that spearhead and execute stand-out projects and programs. The honorees will be chosen based on their ability to demonstrate that they added significant value to their facility by helping to achieve broader goals. A wide range of FM efforts are eligible for recognition under the FMXcellence program, including:

· Sustainability

· Metrics for facility performance

· Strategic facilities planning

· Cost cutting

· Mission critical support

· Staff development

· Safety and security

· Communication (e.g. use of a facility newsletter or Web site)

· Budgeting

· Collaboration with other departments

· Workplace planning

· Emergency planning

· Occupant satisfaction

· Procurement and contract management

· Use of technology

· Capital planning


The honorees will be celebrated at NFMT during a special best practices summit. All registered NFMT attendees are welcome to attend.
