The M&R modeling can be used to develop a parametric cost estimate for a facility. Use of the model has several benefits, including the identification of cost variation over time, and focusing maintenance planning on significant claims on reserve accounts. This presentation will discuss the process of modeling, including an example of a model, and describe how the model can be used to bolster your budgeting process.

Learning Objectives:

1. Explain the need for maintenance modeling
2. Describe the steps in the modeling process
3. Describe a case study/ example
4. Summarize the benefits and use of modeling
