Darrell Rounds currently leads the Maintenance and Industrial Cleaning team for General Motors Company’s Global Facilities organization. Under his leadership, this team is responsible for subject matter expertise, asset sustainment, and maintenance strategies for the optimization of facilities assets within GM’s portfolio with a special focus in North America. Darrell received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University. Darrell also obtained a Facilities Management Certificate as well as the designation of Facilities Management Administrator from BOMI International. He is also a member of the National Institute of Building Sciences’ Facilities Maintenance and Operations Committee. Darrell is very active in community outreach serving in his local church as well as coaching youth athletics. Darrell, his wife Sue, and their three children Kristen, Darrell, and Alexis, currently reside in Ypsilanti, MI.
