Trends Influencing Ladder, Scaffolding and Aerial Lift Product Design and Applications

This presentation will cover how ladders, scaffolding and aerial lifts are evolving, driven by safety and health concerns, social concerns, business concerns, jobsite considerations and the availability of new technologies. The session will discuss the resulting machine design and equipment manufacturing trends triggered by those factors, and how worker safety, evolving manufacturing materials and techniques, and a broadening of applications are influencing design and use.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify the variety of factors influencing ladder, scaffolding and aerial lift design
2. Understand how current machine design and equipment manufacturing trends are impacted by a variety of factors
3. Learn how worker safety, evolving manufacturing materials and techniques, and a broadening of applications are influencing design and use
4. Become aware of the adoption cycle of new, disruptive technologies.
