Coordinating Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Maintenance



For facilities with fire sprinklers and fire alarms, the responsibility for inspection, testing and maintenance (ITM) of these systems falls to the owner or facility manager. The fire codes and standards detailing ITM requirements also mandate coordination of these functions when both systems are present. For the facility manager, trying to juggle these responsibilities can seem like a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. This seminar takes a look at those coordination requirements, identifies roles and responsibilities, and shares some best-practice tips from around the country.
