About this session:
For years building owners and managers have struggled to try to understand cybersecurity for building control systems. Additionally, trying to find and adapt standards to create the "right-sized" framework for building controls. In this session, the participants will be introduced to BCS (BuildingCyberSecurity.org)/ISA (International Society of Automation) 62443, adapted specifically for building control systems, and how to implement foundational elements that will increase the cyber resilience of their building systems. Also covered will be the responsibilities of the asset owner and service providers as well as how to perform risk assessments and select and configure systems to meet minimum cybersecurity requirements.

1. Participants will learn the four groups of BCS/ISA 62443 requirements for cybersecurity building systems.
2. Participants will learn six foundational areas that will strength the cybersecurity of building systems.
3. Participants will learn who is responsible for the various aspects of the BCS/ISA 62443.
4. Particpants will be introduced to the BCS/ISA 62443 risk assessments of building control system systems.
