Julie is a consulting industrial hygienist based in Vienna, VA. She has 35 years of professional experience, developing and maintaining client relationships, partnering with clients to minimize risks and achieve environmental health and safety (EHS) objectives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality EHS compliance and management systems services. Julie has worked in senior level professional positions with engineering and consulting firms, developing written programs, performing assessments and compliance audits, and delivering training in a variety of industries, including bio-pharmaceutical, energy, chemical manufacturing, laboratories, museums, and federal and local government facilities and operations. Julie has a BS in Biology from University of Maryland. She is Certified in Comprehensive Practice by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (CIH), and by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (CSP).She is also certified as a LEED AP by the US Green Building Council. Julie has served in various positions with the Potomac Section AIHA to include Secretary (1993-95) and Director (2010-2012, 2020-2021). She has participated in the local section CIH review course as an instructor and monitor and represented the local section as a judge for Loudoun County Regional Science Fair. Julie has also served as the industrial hygiene participant on the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) Health and Safety Committee 2016-17.
