About this session:
Decarbonization is a buzzword. Just recently, our government was encouraging the use of natural gas in projects by incorporating combined heat and power systems. The objective then was to reduce reliance on petroleum due to economic factors. With the passing of a recent federal legislation, which will infuse $375 billion over the decade, the objective is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 40% by 2030 from a 2005 baseline. This session will be debated by industry experts examining numerous pros and cons facility managers face while navigating through various challenges to reduce their buildings' carbon footprints and achieve full electrification goals.
