Getting the Right Data in Your BIM Delivery Models

As handing over a Revit model at the end of construction has started to become the norm, facility managers need to be sure they can rely on the data they are getting from it. The Model Checker for Revit is a free utiltiy that can be used to check the data inside a Revit model and validate against custom rules that match your requirements. This session will cover how the model checker is used and how to create custom checks that can be shared with designers and contractors to make sure they keep their data correct and consistent.

1. Review the Autodesk Revit Model Checker for Revit and the Autodesk Model Checker for Configurator are and what their benefits are
2. Learn how to effectively use the model checker and model checker configurator
3. Review how other owners are using the model checker in their project handover process
4. List what kinds of data validation can be done on a model with the tools
