Arc Flash, OSHA and NFPA 70E: Get Protected


About this session:

This session is to provide an overall understanding of the changes made in the 2018 edition of the NFPA 70E and how the changes may affect your company's overall electrical safety program. Student will gain a better understanding of the relationship with OSHA and NFPA 70E, as well as, key items that need to be addressed for the next three year cycle of their electrical safety program.


1. Recognize many of the significant changes in NFPA 70E 2018.
2. Identify the latest training requirements for employees that work on or near electrical hazards.
3. Review the latest changes in PPE requirements for Arc flash Hazards.
4. Achieve a better understanding of NFPA 70E definitions pertaining to Arc Flash Assessments and Arc Flash Hazards.
