Facilities Lessons Learned in Transitioning to Open Office Space

Transitioning to open office space can evoke very strong emotions, with Facilities Managers responsible for making that transition as painless as possible. In this panel, lessons learned from projects completed in multiple cities will offer information/insight on continuously evolving approaches to acoustics, lighting, thermal comfort, efficiency, health, collaboration and common spaces, A/V, workstation standards, outside views, and more. The panelists, each with 20 to 30 years’ experience in Project and Facilities Management, will share experiences from projects in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut to help FM’s considering, designing, transitioning to, or operating in open office space.
