How to Create Outcome-based Partnerships with Service Providers

View All Sessions

About this session:

Historically, buyers have had a strong focus on cost reduction and standardization when outsourcing to a service provider. Today, however, the need of flexibility, proactivity and innovation has become equally as important for most organizations. We have found that sticking to the same power-based approach when negotiating will not deliver the best results for either party. Buyer and supplier organizations at the forefront are instead developing outcome-based partnerships to foster collaboration, innovation, and value sharing - to become truly Vested in each others success. This session will address techniques, partnership models, and relational contracts that can take your REFM organization to the next level.

1. Learn to assess when a partnership model could be suitable
2. Understand how to unlock obstacles and gain the most out of your service provider relationships
3. Framework for how to develop a Vested partnership
4. Demonstrate how the RE&FM function can deliver value beyond cost savings to top management and core business through strategic partnerships
