Monitoring Based Commissioning (MBCx) & Fault detection and Diagnostics (FDD) for Chiller Plants


About this session:

Chillers operating and maintenance costs are escalating day by day which make it difficult for facility managers to meet operational budgets. Recent changes in sensors and communications technologies now make it possible to have what every facility manager strives for: affordable, actionable information that reduces their chiller system operating costs while also improving reliability. The speaker will address the importance of Monitoring Based Commissioning (MBCx) and Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) for chiller plants and how they can be used to improve efficiency and reliability. Implementation case studies for universities and large manufacturing campuses will be presented.
