About this session:

This is an overview of the trends in the office furniture industry and the environmental impacts that are being created by this legacy furniture. We review the environmental and economic benefits of remanufactured furniture as an alternative to scraping, downcycling or throwing old furniture to the landfill.

1. Explain the trends in office furniture today.
2. State the effect that legacy office furniture has on the environment.
3. Discuss what remanufactured furniture is and how to differentiate it from “as is” and refurbished furniture.
4. Recall the environmental savings and the economic savings compared the purchasing of “New”.
