Wendy Libert, CFM, is Senior Facilities Manager at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization that conducts behavioral and social science research and delivers technical assistance to solve some of the most urgent challenges in the U.S. and around the world. Wendy manages the daily facilities operations ( including MAC, conference/event services, logistics planning and production center and mail services) for six of AIR’s eastern region sites including the corporate headquarters building in Crystal City, VA. Ms. Libert has held similar positions with Transwestern, UGL and DTZ in both the commercial office building and retail environments. Among the highlight accomplishments of her 30 years of experience are executing the largest archival move ever for the National Archives as well as nearly a decade of leading facilities support for high-profile Annual and Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund. Wendy holds a BA in Business/Economics from Western Maryland College. A member of the Capital Chapter of IFMA, Wendy currently serves on the Board of Directors, is the co-chair of the Professional Development Committee and a Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) earning the designation in 2016.
