Light RailLink

Baltimore's Light Rail System travels through the heart of the city. There are 32 stops along the route, including near the Baltimore Convention Center at Camden Yards. Tickets are available onboard.

MARC Train Service

MARC Train Service is a commuter rail system whose service areas include Harford County, Maryland; Baltimore City; Washington D.C.; Brunswick, Maryland; Frederick, Maryland and Martinsburg, West Virginia. MARC Train Service operates Monday through Friday with limited service on the Penn Line.

Metro Subway

The 15.5-mile, 14-station Metro Subway system operates every. 8-10 minutes during the morning and evening peak periods; 11 minutes during weekday evenings; 15 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

MTA Bus Service

MTA bus service currently has 60 bus routes, which include high frequency CityLink routes, LocalLink, & Express BusLink routes (which operate from various suburbs to downtown Baltimore).

MTA Commuter Bus

Commuter Bus provides express transit service connecting suburban residential areas that include Columbia, Bel Air, Havre De Grace, and Laurel to downtown Baltimore. There are five Commuter Bus routes that operate to the Baltimore region, making 55 daily trips.

MTA MobilityLink/Paratransit Program

MobilityLink/Paratransit service is for citizens who are unable to use CityLink, LocalLink, Metro SubwayLink or Light RailLink service. MobilityLink/Paratransit service is provided by the MTA via contracts with Veolia Transportation, MV Transportation, and First Transit Inc. From York & Harrisburg, PA

  • 83 south to 695 west.
  • Proceed on 695 west and take the next 83 south exit.
  • Follow 83 south to Lombard Street and make a right.
  • Continue on Lombard Street and make a left onto Hopkins Place.
  • Proceed on Hopkins Place (Hopkins Place will convert into sharp street) and make a left onto Pratt Street.
  • The Convention Center will be on the right.
  • Take Conway to Howard.
  • Make a right onto Pratt Street.
  • The Convention Center will be on your right.

Americans with Disabilities Act

The Convention center provides access for our guests with disabilities in the following ways:

  • Sidewalk curb cuts provide easy access for wheelchair users to main lobby areas.
  • Wheelchair ramp located in the Charles Street Lobby.
  • Thresholds are level with floor at entrance doors.
  • Meeting room audio enhancements.
  • Exterior automatic sliding doors are located at each public lobby entrance - Pratt Street, Sharp Street, Charles Street, and the Mezzanine Level, Main Terrace.
  • Emergency systems provide emergency notice for the visually and hearing impaired.
  • There are amplified telephone handsets located in each of the permanent public telephone banks located throughout the Center.
  • TDD and TDY-equipped telephones are located throughout the public areas of the facility.
  • Telephones in each telephone bank are installed at a height that accommodates persons in wheelchairs.
  • Elevators are located near escalators on each level, and are equipped with Braille indicators, chimes, and raised lettering, providing mobility for visually impaired as well as mobility impaired guests. In addition, meeting room signs have additional Braille text.
  • All restrooms are accessible for standard wheelchairs.
  • The elevator cabs provide information on the location of the phone and instructions on using the instruments.
  • Visual line indicators (flashers) and amplified handsets are available to exhibitors and show management through the Center's Telecommunications Department.
