Bring your project concept to the workshop, and learn how to apply effective strategies, tools, and deliverables to shape and refine your idea. At the end of the day, you'll have a fully developed proposal ready to present to your facility leadership for approval.

8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

 

M&R best practices overview: Review key concepts, strategies, and methodologies that improve maintenance and reliability processes in various industries. The session includes discussion and real-world examples across a variety of industry and facility types.

 

Application Exercise: Drill down into opportunities for improvement at your organization. Tap into concepts and principles shared in the M&R overview, analyze and propose solutions to M&R challenges, and share solutions with your workshop peers.

 

10:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

Identifying opportunities: The focus shifts to identifying opportunities for improvement in maintenance and reliability practices. You’ll learn techniques to recognize process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

 

Case Study exercise: Workshop participants will review a case study featuring specific M&R challenges and potential improvement areas. Participants will analyze the information, develop strategies, and propose actionable solutions in a collaborative format.

 

12:00 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.

 

Box Lunch (provided): Network, exchange ideas, and engage in informal discussions with workshop attendees.

 

1:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

 

Building your business case: You will be guided through the process of building a business case for improvement in your organization. Frameworks and tools will be provided to help you assess the current state, define goals, identify potential benefits, and outline the steps needed to implement improvements. Instructor feedback will be given to help shape and refine your proposal.

 

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Final presentations for feedback and improvement: All workshop participants will have the opportunity to present their business case to the class for feedback, suggestions, and additional insights into creating an effective proposal, ensuring your experience concludes with a fully developed proposal ready to present to your facility leadership for approval.
