We would present on the topics of Operations and Maintenance with a look at the importance of maintaining the building enclosure and ensuring that the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of the building are operating effectively and efficiently. • No aspect of a building can be properly maintained if the systems that keep water, heat, and air are neglected. For example, what good would it do to renovate the interior of a building if the roof and windows are leaking and will ruin the updated interiors? • The last year has demonstrated not only the necessity of having a building that is considered healthy, but with the ever increasing cost of energy, building owner’s simply can’t afford to operate inefficient buildings.
