About this session:
Facilities spend billions on construction and renovations. According to ASHE, healthcare renovations, for example, were on track to be between $6 billion and $8 billion in 2016. While construction and renovation are ongoing at facility campuses, facilities teams are ultimately responsible for building and equipment maintenance and safety. Too often, facilities teams must do their work without closeout packages from contractors. Lacking details about the buildings they manage could result in guesswork about shut-off locations and other important safety mechanisms. The goal of this session is to present solutions and innovative approaches to this construction closeout challenge.
