Building a World Class Asset Management, Maintenance and Equipment Reliability Program: A Blueprint


About this session:

Building a world class O&M program is like building a house. You need a solid foundation, strong supports to bear the load of daily use and a protecting roof to keep it all secure. This presentation provides a blueprint of focus areas for Facility Managers to improve operations. We will also review the progression from reactive to world class delivery of O&M to understand the current state of operation and subsequently determine the journey and roadmap to reach the desired destination.


1. Understand the elements of a world class asset management, maintenance, and reliability engineering program
2. Identify where operations stand on the maturity progression of maintenance delivery, from reactive to world class
3. Develop plans for change that move operations up the maturity progression to achieve the desired state
4. Discuss implementation of key elements
