Saving Money (and the World) with Your Roof

About this session:

The largest part of a building's structure is one pointed straight at the sun, and the one responsible for keeping the building dry and comfortable. But it is a common idea that a building can either invest their money wisely on proven roofing choices, or waste resources to be "green" and environmentally-friendly. This session focuses on the fact that a facility can use money wisely and, at the same time, make the building a better place to work in and around. We focus on new trends in the industry and how roofing technology is changing.

1. Indicate which "green" roofing choices are feasible financially
2. Explain how environmental considerations are rapidly changing roof-related building codes
3. Review how the functions of a building envelope have changed over recent years
4. List new, cutting-edge technologies coming to the roofing industry
