Christine started her HVAC/R career in the US ARMY, serving for almost 7 years at Ft. Sill, OK. Since then, Rack-houses and AHUs have taken Christine from coast to coast, learning and working with small and large commercial companies, and two universities. In 2019 she began working for Sam’s Club as a Mechanical Construction Manager, overseeing Remodels and Major Construction in multiple states to include Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas. By 2021, Christine relocated to Bentonville, AR, for her first corporate challenge – the role of Senior Manager HVAC/R for all Sam’s club’s 605 warehouses, which include e-commerce, export centers and all retail sites. Despite pandemic troubles, building and training a new team from the ground up, and adjusting to the new office environment, she then worked with her team to reduced year over year work order volume by 20%, flatlining persistent annual cost growth, reducing cost per unit sold by 30%, by implementing the process and strategy for root cause identification improving first time fix more than 50%. In December 2021 Sam’s Club’s Facilities Maintenance evolved from a trade-based to region-based support model, dispersing talent across the seven regions, diversifying her team and the team’s roles from HVAC/R expanding to all 105 retail FM trades. Christine now leads both the Mississippi Valley and South-Central regions as Senior Facilities Manager overseeing OPEX of more than $70M and a Capital budget of $20M, which encompasses 190 locations. Christine has built her career on long lasting relationships with industry partners to achieve and exceed operational targets even in the most challenging of times – amidst life changing events, a global pandemic, ever growing technician labor shortages and elongating supply-chains. She is a life-long learner, avid painter, book collector, and mother of three.
