I am currently the Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning and Operations at Kent State University. I function as the Chief Facilities Officer responsible for all construction and maintenance at Kent State University. I have 35 years of experience in engineering, construction, and facilities management, working in higher education, health care, K-12, and with the federal government. I have worked at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, the Veterans Administration hospital in Milwaukee, Grady Health System in Atlanta, Madison Public Schools in Wisconsin, Southwest Wisconsin Technical College, and University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering from South Dakota State, a MS in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University. I am a Certified Energy Manager, a Certified Energy Auditor, Certified Facility Manager, and LEED Green Associate.
